He leads the Risk Committee at Index Occidente. He also heads the brand protection and investigations area at Flex, a position that includes responsibility for 10 plants throughout Mexico and Central America.
Salvador has held other national and regional security management positions for Sanofi Aventis, General Motors, Celestica, Elcoteq, and Procter & Gamble.
He has been involved with ASIS International (American Society for Industrial Security) as Treasurer and member of the council of the Northern Mexico Chapter #239, as well as other leadership positions in the Western Chapter.
He was a founding member of the TAPA (Transport Asset Protection Association) Mexico Chapter. He was also in charge of the Security Committee of Canieti, Western Chapter.
In 2019, he was recognized by the Council of Women Entrepreneurs in Mexico as an agent of change for achieving gender equality in security matters.
Functions as a liaison with public safety authorities in the western region to address the needs of members in case of emergency, support for any risky events in their companies, or for investigating incidents.
The committee works with its partners to develop programs that help mitigate risk in cargo transportation and physical security in each company’s facilities.
